Today I am doing a product review for a sleeping kit made by Adventure at Nature and sold at Amazon. It is currently priced at $10.97. Since I am all for having a good night's sleep in order to avoid those horrible bags and dark circles under my eyes I was eager to give the kit a try!

The kit consists of a lightweight sleeping mask that is molded to fit your eyes and nose, soft earplugs, and a carrying bag.

The company uses the following points to advertise their product.

I received the kit, and when I opened the package, I saw that it looked as it did in their product advertisement. The mask came folded in the silky bag, along with the ear plugs which were in a small plastic case. All good so far!

I tried the mask on and since it has an elastic strap with a velcro closure, it fit me just fine. However, there was a slight amount of light that came through the bottom of the mask around the molded nose area.

The company's ad says that it fits men, women and children, so I asked my husband, and my 7 year old granddaughter to also try on the mask. My husband said that it fit, but he couldn't decide if it was more comfortable to have the elastic strap over or under his ears. He also said that the mask allowed light in at the bottom around the nose area. My granddaughter basically noted the same result.

I tried the ear plugs and they were soft enough to easily insert into my ears. They blocked out a good amount of noise and stayed put.

In summary, the sleeping kit would be good for travel since they are small enough to fit inside a handbag or even a men's jacket pocket. I think they would provide some benefit for long airline trips and perhaps in a noisy hotel. I also think the mask is well enough made that it would hold up well for everyday use.

The only concern I had for the kit is that the molded nose piece won't fit everyone's face. It doesn't allow in a lot of light, but it does allow some. If someone were to wear a nasal strip, it's possible that it could improve this issue.
